Audience: M.Optom students of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Medical College, School of Optometry, Pune and Nagar School of Optometry, Ahmedabad.
The session was divided into two days (17-02-2011 and 18-02-2011). On 17-02-2011 the session started at 9.30 am with lecture on Ocular Prosthesis by Mr. Yeshwant Saoji which was followed with hands-on session where audience were demonstrated with the manufacturing of Prosthetic eye by the guest faculties and which continued till 5.00 pm.
On 18-02-2011 the session started at 10.00 am where a lecture on Orthokeratology was taken which followed by a lecture on Rose K Lenses and Practice Management by Mr. Yeshwant Saoji. The audience were also provided with a demonstration on special contact lenses which continued till 4.00 pm.
We are thankful to Mr. Amit J Shinde, In-charge, School of Optometry and Mr. Nilesh D Thite, Academic In-chrge, School of Optometry for giving us such a wonderful opportunity to have a practical and clinical knowledge on ocular prosthesis and for arranging lecture on speciality contact lenses.
The Day ended with Doubt clearing session at 05.30 p.m.
